Following God Into the Light

This morning’s devotion really spoke to me. (Thank you First15 for providing relevant, God-inspired wisdom for my daily life!) It seems many of my friends/colleagues (as well as myself) are facing difficult decisions within our careers and we’re not sure where/when/how to take our next steps.

I find great comfort in knowing that I don’t have to know the future. In fact, I cannot know the future as only God can see what is ahead, which most likely includes a path that I am not even aware of. For me, this is very freeing. I don’t have to figure it all out. I just need to trust Him and follow Him into the light to the place He has purposed for me “for such a time as this”. I pray you will do the same. Please take a few moments to read this beautifully written post.

And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them.Isaiah 42:16
