Day 2 began with a lovely breakfast at the hotel. We have been fortunate to have great experiences with hotels and restaurants! Scott and I were honored to be invited to visit the Jewish Community Center in Warsaw. We left a bit early, which was good, because we lost our way and it took a lot longer to find the location. This was actually nice as it gave us a chance to see more of the city.
Our friend at the JCC offered some great information on sites that I should visit, relevant to my resilience research. You can see a pic of her below, with some photos of the JCC and the JCC dog. She was very sweet and napped on my foot while we talked:)
After a delicious lunch at a little Italian restaurant, we ventured over the o the former site of the Warsaw ghetto. Unfortunately, it was closed on Tuesday, but we had time to explore the grounds, including an exhibition and monuments.
